Full Version: Why Are Mt's Default Css Layouts Fixed?

I'm curious as to why all of the default CSS layouts are fixed and center justified with 2 columns. Does anyone know of any MT templates that are liquid and have 3 column that were designed by someone who understands effective SEO. Most all template designers I've seen know very little about effective site development and SEO. Thanks for your help.

This tutorial explains how to switch to a three column layout, but it's still a fixed width solution:

lisa, does Style Monkey's 3-column liquid layout comply with MT3.2's StyleCatcher? I want to be sure that any style or template I use will integrate with any new design from StyleCatcher I might change it to in the future.

I'm not sure what you mean by comply with Stylecatcher.

Looking at the source of one of the fluid styles, it doesn't look like they're using the 3.2 stylesheet as the basis for their design. That means that you would have to change all of your templates to use those particular styles.
