i'm hoping that some of you out there have the plugin MultiBlog installed and working and can help me. i installed it today but then found the documentation EXTREMELY lacking. that, and i can't find the old documentation anywhere

so, here's what i've got going on...

blog id#2 has two modules that i'm now sharing with blog id#1 using the MultiBlog plugin. that was easy. these two modules are on an index template in blog#1 and an index template in blog#2. i want to figure out how to rebuild index #1 (on blog id#1) when i rebuild the index template on blog id#2.

from what i've been reading of MultiBlog, this is possible but i have no idea how. can a rebuild of an index template on one blog trigger the rebuild of an index template on another? maybe i can't do this with MultiBlog and i have to use something else? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you figured this out yet? If not, what version of MultiBlog are you using? I too have suffered the loss of the documentation also, but this one I can help you with.

If you are using MultiBlog 1.1, go to Main Menu:Plugins and the MultiBlog plugin title will link to the page where you make the rules for rebuilding and access. In MultiBlog 1.99x, you have to go to the plug in settings for the individual blog. It would be under Blog Name: Settings:Plugins tab, then to the right of the listing for MultiBlog, a link to "Show Settings".

A warning, if you have too many things being triggered with the rebuild, rebuilds could take a very long time or fail (at least v1.1 did, haven't really given 1.99 a challenge yet). When I ran into this problem, I tried to find the documentation to see if there was any mention but it was too late. The documentation had already been removed. You may just want to use a php include instead if you don't have to combine items from various blogs in the same block.
