My server does not have image magick installed on it from what I can see. I desperatly need an image uploading software, so I can have a photo gallery on one of my movable type blogs. Can anyone help me out here, what's the best thing for me to do?

Byrne Reese's Photo Gallery plugin is great, makes real slick looking galleries, but it requires ImageMagik.

Have you asked your host to install it? Also, I think there's a way to install perl modules into your MT installation, but I'm not sure about that. Someone smarter than me will have to comment.

The Image manager that can be included with the TinyMCE editor uses ImageMagick by default, but will use GD instead (with some minor loss of functionality) if ImageMagick is not installed.
