Have had my blog for a while... about 600 entries on it... Got a call from my host today to tell me that each time I've been trying to rebuild (since my upgrade from 3.17 to 3.33)... that they it takes down their servers and they've gotta restart apache... ouch.

Need to work out what's going wrong... Their log looks like this:

I've tried to rebuild today... It get so far, but then craps out and I get a 404 page... So I'm not sure what's going wrong. Anyone know how I can troubleshoot this?

Thanks

Dear Mike,

MovableType v3.33 should not use more resources than the version you had installed

I wonder if you have some remanent files from your previous installation that may confuse MovableType

What I could suggest is:

1) have a consultant verify your mt v3.33 installation (put up a clean new version);

2) if that is not enough check your templates and optimize/simplify;

3) if the above two are not enough, move hosting.

I would be glad to help if you need consultancy.

Good luck,
