I get this error when i try to rebuild my pages!
"Building date-based archive 'Monthly20070301000000' failed: Build error in template 'Date-Based Archive': Error in <MTEntries> tag: Error in <MTIfPingsActive> tag:"

Has this template previously rebuild without any errors? If yes, have you made any changes to the template lately?
If not, then the error may be an indication of some sort of database corruption. What database option are you using?

Paste in here your Date-Based Archiving Template

If you have not made any changes to your template (and it was previously rebuilding), then there is no need to copy your template here (it won't have spontaneously changed).

Dear Sarah,
That's obvious! However, Adam or somebodyelse may have changed something on that template which created the problem.
I would humbly advice having a look at the template here to speed up this case resolution.
Sincerely,
Mihai Bocsaru

We do not use the date based archive for this partiular weblog! When i try to post anew entry on the page it gives me the error. I only use the index page of that wbelog and it simply displays in name order, around 11 entries???

You may not be using it - but the error does indicate it is being rebuilt. If you go to the Settings > Publishing tab, under Archive Mapping, what archive types are enabled (with a check next to them)?
What database option are you using?
