Ok, I have 2 problems. The first is, I can't seem to get "trust" to work. I have enabled authentication using a Typekey token. However, when I go to the comments page, select a commenter, then select "trust" from the drop down actions menu (that includes other actions such as "unpublish, ban, unban etc...) nothing happens. I go over to the commenters screen and there is nothing there. The Movable Type manual offers no help with this. It only tells you how to designated trust from the commenters screen, but I can't do that because I can't get anything to appear on the commenter screen.

Secondly, email notification for comments. I have enabled it and yet, I get no notification. Any idea what's going on here? And, does email notification also notify other commenters when a new comment is posted in the same thread they have?

The Trust/Ban Commenter actions are applicable only to those commenters who have had their identity authenticated via TypeKey - ie. those who are listed on the Commenters screen, and have the little TypeKey icon next to their name in the Comments listing. If you aren't seeing any commenters in the Commenters screen, this indicates that the comments have not been successfully submitted with TypeKey autentication.

Comment notification emails are sent to the author of the entry commented on. See this KB article for more info.
