Full Version: Rebuild Error After A Comment

When someone leaves a comment on one of my blogs, an error message says that the template could not be rebuilded. The individual archive is rebuilding and showing the comment but the main index is not.

I have changed to the default templates for the individual archives and the main index archive but the error persists.

No error messages are given.

What else could I try?

Huh?

By that I meant that MT does not dispaly any error messages during a normal rebuild and also the activity log is error free.

Ah. Okay. But then what's the exact wording of the error your visitors(?) are seeing? Do you know that the problem is actually happening via the main index(eg. do the category/monthly archives do anything with comment information?) What are you doing on the main index with comment data? A link would help, so we can see what's ending up where.

The error message is just:

CODE
An error occurred
Rebuild failed:

You can see it by going to this page on CSSHilfe.de and posting a comment.

Thanks in advance,

i have just got the same error on a MT3 blog i'm running. the error happens if i allow comments to be posted from anyone. if i have it set to no-one so i moderate the user gets the acknowledgment page fine.

when you get the error the comment is actually being added, because if you go back the comment is there.
