Very weird.

I installed MT 3.35 two weeks ago. Been working fine ever since, no problem with install or use:

http://blogs.radified.com/

But today, all of a sudden I can no longer Save individual entries previously created.

Didn't do anything between time when it was working and when it stopped.

IE just say "waiting for ... http:// ..mt.cgi..." Stays like that forever. Progress bar moves slowly, but it never saves the entry. I eventually get an error that says it cannot display the page (http://...mt.cgi). Also tried Firefox, same thing.

Also tried rebotting my computer. No difference. All other web pages and functions working properly. The blog pages can be seen fine, and I can access all pages in MT admin back-end.

I *can* (and have) rebuild entire site and individual achives, and that it only way I can actually make changes to old entries. BTW - this goes VERY FAST (I have 13-or-so entries). So this works but not the other (individual pages).

Usually when I save a regular single entry (when it used to work), it goes MUCH SLOWER.

I can also create new entries and edit these new entries no problem:

But I cannot save edited entries made before today.

Is this not weird?

Another odd thing, if it mattters, is I installed Plug-in manager (weeks ago), but I no longer see it listed on my Plug-in page. All other plug-ins seems to be there (such as EEE WYSIWYG editor), but no plug-in manager.

I also used to see an option to "disable" individual plug-ins, right beside the word "enabled".

One last thing. When I made that last test post entry, it stayed a looong time of "Pinging Sites". I almost cancelled, but it eventualy worked. Subsequent edit-saves of that entry go rather quickly.

Any insights into what might be causing this?

and now, for no apparent reason, it seems to be working okay, again.

any ideas what's happening?
Su-
If it was not working, and then magically is the implication to me would be that this was a problem with your host and not the application.

I agree.

Has no one ever heard of something like this before?
