As you may know in previous versions of MT (I mean 2.x and 3.x) when you export your entries via the internal import/export section of program the Entry Basename haven't been exported.
I launched a fresh installation of MT 4 and I want to import my old entries (Thousands) to that. For the sake of SEO I had changed all my entries basename. Now when it get imported I face with predefined basenames system created. What can I do to change them to old basenames via SQL ?
I need simply to replace the entry_basename column in the mt_entry table with the old one. but how?
I know a little about phpmyadmin.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi drritalin - I'm no SQL/PHP expert, but I was looking for additional information on the way that MT4 imports basenames (screwy, if you ask me) and I found this link, which might be adaptable to solve your problem.

Why donīt you "just" follow the guidlines and set the basename according to your own prefereance. Check the appendix

Unfortunately, my basnames have no similratity to my titles so I can't use any pattern like this. I think the only way would be a database tweak.
My web site's language is not English (I mean the title of my post's are in another language and as you may know, MT screw these type of basenames if.
