Got some wierdness going on with a blog on a very large (as in lots of content) MT 3.35 install.

There are a lot of blogs working fine, but on a particular new blog, entries are not publishing when saved. The main index page, category and monthly archives don't get updated, and no individual entry archive is created for the post. It takes a manual rebuild to create them (and then they're fine).

Any ideas ? I've checked publishing settings, template settings, etc. Haven't dived into the database yet, but can do if someone knows what I should be looking for !

I was having a similar problem, and the issue was that I had so many entries in my blog, that the server would run out execution time when trying to create the entry, plus archive indexes. I wouldn't get an error, just a blank page.

I was using a plugin to filter entries in the home page (which took too long), so I had to recode the home page template to be more efficient. I was still having problems with the main archive (I'd have to rebuild that one by hand).

What really made a difference was changing hosts...

I don't know if this is your problem, but it's worth checking before getting into your database.
