Hello:

I have used Adobe Contribute (CS3) successully with WordPress and today I ran into SNAFUs for setting up my Movable Type Blog.

I set up my access point correctly:

http://www.myblog.com/mt/mt-xmlrpc.cgi

However I put in my MT user name and password which are correct and I get the following error:

"Your MetaWeblog user name or password are incorrect. Please check your connection information.

What's up?

Is there a fix for this?

Access is set at 755.

You need your web services password.

Logon as the user and click on hi [username], you will go to the profile. There you will see a field called web services password. Press reveal to see it.

wink.gif Rob - your advice not only helped with my Contribute issues, it solved the problem I was encountering with Flickr's blogging service feature. Thanks!
