Here's a few of my wants that have caused frustration because they're not in MT4.

1 - Adding blockquotes at the touch of an icon as we used to be able to do in MT3.x. Why would that have been left off?

The following are related to user management.

One of the blogs that I support is a long time blog that has implemented MT4 with the MT4 native user registration option. There have been difficulties with getting everyone in the regular community registered.

Management of the process would have been greatly simplified if two features had existed.

2 - The ability to sort the user ids by date registered - specifically the ability to have the most recent registrations first.

3 - In a related item, I can also project that as time goes on, it will be useful to have the ability to pull up a list of users with confirmation pending status by oldest registration date.

4 - An indication on each user id as to how many comments are associated with that user id, if any at all.

I had one person register 5 ids in his attempt to comment, some even after he had already successfully commented using his first id. When trying to sort out later which ones should be deleted, it would have been much easier if I could have seen from the control panel, which ones had associated comments and which ones did not.

It wasn't. The button is between the mail link icon and the one for creating a bulleted list. Ninth from the left.

As far as the user management stuff, it sounds reasonable, and you should submit those notes through the feedback form.
(Yes, I know this section is here, but remember this is primarily a user-to-user forum. That's the official/proper/expected/whatever place to do it. The staff do watch the forum, but direct participation is relatively low; that form on the other hand goes straight to the bug tracker.)

Thanks for the tip on the blockquote icon. When I looked at that, I viewed it as a simple indent or tab over, as MS Word does when you click on the identical icon in Word. Didn't realize it was supposed to represent the blockquote icon.

As for the user management features, I submitted them using the link you supplied. Thanks.
