All of a sudden when trying to rebuild my blogs i get the following error message

An error occurred publishing entry 'Aims and objectives of CAST': Publish error in template 'Entry': Error in <mt:Include> tag: error in module Entry Detail: Error in <mt:Include> tag: error in module Entry Metadata: Error in <mt:IfPingsActive> tag: Error in <mt:EntryTrackbackCount> tag:

I am running 4.01 and use the standard styles. I have tracked down the problem to the tag <$MTEntryTrackbackCount$> in the style "Entry metadata". When i remove this tag, the building process succeeeds. When i turn of trackbacks, there is no problem either.

I have been running 4 beta for a few months without this problem. I am not aware of any changes to my system (except by using the blog), so i have no clue what may have caused this problem. Upgrading to 4.01 and refreshing the styles did not help.

Anybody any ideas?

Regards,

Andre

This is presumably not the first entry the rebuild process is hitting, right? So, it's building other entries just fine, but when it gets to this specific one, it fails?

What happens if you actually turn trackbacks off for that one entry?

It is not on one blog, it is on multiple blogs.

On a blog that i use for testing, the rebuild gave an error where it did not two weeks ago. As far as i am aware, no new entries, backtracks or comments where added in between.

I just created a completely new blog at http://www.fdcw.org/rebuildtest . If there is no entry, rebuilding goes fine. When creating a new entry, the error appears after clicking on "Save" and when rebuilding. However, despite of the error the entry does show up in the blog.

If i turn off trackbacks the rebuilding process goes fine. This holds for all of the blogs.

We have moved MT to a different server, the problem has dissappeared.
