Full Version: Blank Screen When Logging In

My domain is http://www.kbb2.com.

The blog is viewable, and works fine.

But I can't login anymore! I go to http://kbb2.com/mt/mt.cgi and it pulls up the login page. I enter in my username and password and the broser says "waiting for kbb2.com..." and then it goes to a blank screen!

It's obviously worked in the past because I've added two posts and I've done some things to the styles. The only plug-in I've added is the Google Analytics plugin that allows me to view my stats in the MT dashboard.

Also, if it helps, I'm using a GoDaddy.com Linux deluxe hosting plan.

Please help!!

Just to add to that, when I try to login using the wrong login information it works and gives me an inccorect username/password message. So it's only when it verifies my login info and tries to take me to the admin section!

First thing I would do is remove the plugin from the plugin directory, if that is cause slow performance while waiting to get stats then your host may be killing the mt process.

Well, that actually worked! I didn't think I would be so lucky. Now my question is, if I cannot add any plugins, why would I use MT?? I am using a GoDaddy hosting account. I mean, I love the functionality of MT4 over WordPress, but so far it doesn't seem to outweight the speed issues I've had!

Thanks again OtherNiceMan!

You're over-generalizing. So far, I see you having a problem with this plugin. I assume you also still have the bundled plugins installed, and they're working?

One thing to check:
What you describe isn't the specific problem I had, but the Google Analytics widget won't work unless your server has Crypt::SSLeay installed. Check if it's available, or ask GoDaddy support; I don't know if it's standard or not. This appears to actually be an issue with another module the widget uses(LWP) that doesn't actually complain about it missing, so the only way to really find out about it is when something goes wrong.
