Upgraded a 3.3.5 site to 4.0.1

Now, 4.0.1 is causing perl to core dump almost continuously, and I'm getting lovely 50+MB perl5.8.8.core files in my mt directory.

Any ideas? My ISP and I are looking at it, but I have a limited amount of time to dink with this before I start planning my move away from MT.

Does mt-check run correctly?

Is there any information in your server log files to say where it is happening?

Do you have any plugins installed?

Do you have any CRON jobs running / scheduled publishing?

Do you get any errors in the web web interface?

Yes

Lots of entries about ImageMagick: [Sun Dec 02 00:03:21 2007] [error] [client 74.6.28.210] Deep recursion on subroutine "Image::Magick::AUTOLOAD" at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/mach/Image/Magick.pm line 42.

This is interesting, because according to mt-check, ImageMagick is not installed.
