I keep finding bugs...

Here's one: I got an email about a new comment which was CLEARLY spam. Come on now. The comment was 7 frigging links to porn or poker sites.

I clicked to notify that it was spam. MT did who knows what, and then it took me to a page that said "welcome to Movable Type." It didn't tell me that it deleted the comment or that it reported it as spam. I checked, and the comment was gone, which is good... but did MT do anything other than delete the comment? And why didn't MT let me know it deleted the comment?

MT3 used to...
MT4? No.

It saddens me to say it, but I really regret upgrading to MT 4.

That's not a bug any more than the occasional Viagra e-mail making it to your inbox is a bug in your mail application. The fact it was clearly spam to you, a human, is irrelevant. Spam gets through. It happens.

This may actually be a bug, or at least a sub-optimal interface decision. I assume you reported it?

I was more complaining about how MT allowed something through that the previous MT Blacklist never did. I get that no system is perfect. What really bugs me is that after I click to "Report comment as spam" MT deletes the comment and rebuilds the entry (all good) but fails to tell me that it did so. Instead, I'm greeted with a Movable Type welcome page. In fact, "Report as spam" gives me no clue what MT is really doing. I'm glad it also deletes and rebuilds, etc... I just think it should tell me it's doing so.
