I am using MT 4.1 and my archive mapping is entry-base type, that means I am choosing - instead of underscores. However, when I type in the title field, the basename is field with underscores and not with hyphens. I also know that MT will covert them again from underscores to hyphens when the entry is published.
My questions:
1- Is this normal? Is it possible to tell MT to translate spaces with hyphens in the basename field, instead of underscores?
2- Isn't it just an extra process, when MT translate them again to hyphens? Does this process make MT slower?
