Hey All –

I’m having a bit of a strange problem with the rss feed from my MT site that I was wondering if anyone has seen before.

For whatever reason, it seems as though the rss feed for my site (chrisstubbs.com) isn’t always pulling the correct content. I use google reader, and for months everything worked fine. But lately new posts show up in my reader with the correct title, and a correct link, but with content that is actually from old posts. Other friends who use google reader have noticed the same problem with my site, so its not just me. I set up a test account with bloglines, and that seems to aggregate everything fine. But I haven’t touched the templates or the atom feed from my site recently, so I have no idea why the feed would have gone on the fritz in GReader all of a sudden.

Anyone seen anything like this before? Thanks!

The first thing you need to do is look at the source code for the feed directly. Download the xml/rss file and open it in a text editor. Either GReader or Bloglines is lying to you, so you need to determine which one.
Also note that depending upon what syndication format you're talking about(sorry, but people tend to say "RSS" even for Atom feeds), the feed may have both a summary and full content for each entry, as separate elements, so make sure they match up.
