Full Version: Removing "recent Assets" From Sidebar
Movable Type Community Forum > Using Movable Type > Default Stylesheets

Hi All,

Please forgive me if I am posting this in the wrong spot. I am just starting with Movable Type 4.1. I chose the Tricolor Unity style and it has a section in one of the sidebars (it has 2) for "Recent Assets." Each time I upload a photo, it places a thumbnail of that photo in the "Recent Assets" section. sad.gif

What I'd like to do is have a section for photos that I'd like to be there, rather than all the photos I upload, and rather than calling it "Recent Assets," I'd like to call it "Photos of Ancestors" or "Ancestor Photos" or some such.

Is this possible?

Thanks in Advance,
Michele

Hello

I'm looking for a solution for this as well, does anybody have a solution?

It's buried, but here's what you need to do: go to Design>Widget Sets, then click the layout you're using, then under "Installed Widgets" you should see "Home Page Widgets". Click "edit" in "Home Page Widgets" and then delete or comment out the line that says <$mt:include widget="Recent Assets"$>
