I apologize in advance if I'm missing something very obvious, but I've been searching the docs and the forum for a while now and can't really figure out what's going on.
I'm using MTOS4.1 and I set up a blog for a friend a while ago. I created the blog using my user and posted several test posts to it and successfully published them (for reference, they are here: http://blog.amyzhang.org). Once I had done that, I created a new user for her to use to post and assigned that new user admin privileges.
I handed the site off and let her know she could start posting. However, when she tried to post/publish, nothing showed up on the site. I logged in using my own credentials and it turns out I'm also unable to post. All the entries the two of us have created over the last two days show up as "Published" but the site has not changed and if I look around on the file system in the server, it's clear that none of the new entries have been created, the index page has not been updated and neither have any of the archives. I've even deleted the original posts, published again (with no errors) and yet nothing changes on the live site.
Are there restrictions/limitations on the open-source version? I used custom templates and I'm wondering if I removed a tag required to support multi-user blogs.
Any idea what's going on?
