Had two users report that when they tried to recover their passwords, they received a 500 Internal Server Error. After looking at both of their accounts, I noticed they were the only two users who had a comma in their display name (ie John Smith, Jr.) . I then removed the comma from the display name and had them try again. They were able to recover their passwords without receiving the Internal Server Error. In an attempt to recreate the situation, I added a comma to my display name, and attempted to recover my password. I too received the 500 error message. Interestingly, the system did send the email message with the new password to me. Once I removed the comma from my display name, I was able to move through the password recovery steps without receiving the 500 error message.
Is this a known bug/issue? If so, is there something I can change so that users will not receive the error message?
