Hi MT forum,
Yesterday was my 1st time trying to clone a test blog using MTOS4.1 on my hosted server.
In system overview, I select the blog to be cloned (Blog4Clone), select clone action, then hit go.
Everything seems to be fine on the "Clone blog" pop up window:
======
Clone Blog
Cloning blog 'Blog4clone'...
* Cloned blog... new id is 12.
* Cloning permissions for blog: 1 records processed.
* Cloning associations for blog: 0 records processed.
* Cloning entries for blog... 3 records processed.
* Cloning categories for blog... 3 records processed.
* Cloning entry placements for blog... 3 records processed.
* Cloning comments for blog... 0 records processed.
* Cloning entry tags for blog... 0 records processed.
* Cloning TrackBacks for blog... 3 records processed.
* Cloning TrackBack pings for blog... 0 records processed.
* Cloning templates for blog... 53 records processed.
* Cloning template maps for blog... 6 records processed.
* Cloning Widgets for blog... 3 records processed.
Finished! You can return to the blog listing or configure the Site root and URL of the new blog.
========
I put in my new publishing path. Then hit create blog.
Everything looks fine. I'm now in the Blog Settings of the cloned blog.
But when I get to Manage Entries, I only see 1 entry (the latest one). The original blog has 3 entries, and the Clone blog pop up window recognizes that (see above : Cloning entries for blog... 3 records processed. )
When I go to Design/Template, I cannot find any templates. Again, the Clone blog pop up window does recognize the templates number of the original blog ( see above: Cloning templates for blog... 53 records processed.)
Similarly, there is nothing in the Assets. The original blog has 3 pictures assets.
It seems like MTOS4.1 only clones 1 out of the 3 entries of the original blog, and it does not clone any of the templates, nor does it clone any of the assets. The strange thing is that it gives an accurate index and numbers of things to be cloned in the "Clone Blog" pop up window.
Please advise.
Many thanks,
Virgil
