On this page <http://www.sixapart.com/movabletype/docs/mtupgrade> I found the following info regarding upgrading:

To upgrade from one version to another, you need to run a series of upgrade scripts, which will upgrade the application to each intermediate version. The details are given below:

* If you are upgrading from version 3.0D or 3.01D
Run mt-upgrade31.cgi.

* If you are upgrading from version 2.6, 2.61, 2.62, 2.63, 2.64, 2.65, 2.66 or 2.661
Run mt-upgrade30.cgi, then mt-upgrade31.cgi.

* If you are upgrading from version 2.5 or 2.51
Run mt-upgrade26.cgi, then mt-upgrade30.cgi, then mt-upgrade31.cgi..

* If you are upgrading from version 2.1, 2.11, 2.2 or 2.21
Run mt-upgrade25.cgi, then run mt-upgrade26.cgi, then mt-upgrade30.cgi, then mt-upgrade31.cgi.

* If you are upgrading from version 2.0
Run mt-upgrade21.cgi, mt-upgrade25.cgi, mt-upgrade26.cgi, mt-upgrade30.cgi, and then mt-upgrade31.cgi, in that order.

* If you are upgrading from any of versions 1.0-1.4
Run mt-upgrade20.cgi, mt-upgrade21.cgi, mt-upgrade25.cgi, mt-upgrade26.cgi, then mt-upgrade30.cgi, and finally mt-upgrade31.cgi, in that order.

I also found this statement:
"Download the upgrade distribution file (rather than the full distribution). Unpack the .tar.gz archive that you downloaded."

However, nowhere on the sixapart site have I found what these directions refer to. I have two separate installs of MT - one is 2.661 and the other is 3.2. My main concern at the moment is to upgrade the older version to 3x. Then I may look to upgrade both of them to the most recent versions.

Can someone please help point me in the right direction? Where do I find the upgrade distribution files?

Thanks,
Scott
