Hey All,
I am somewhat new to MT4.1, but I am loving it so far.
One nagging question is: How can I manage (or delete) old entries out of my RSS feed?
In other words, I created a few test posts when I got started with MT4. I also have duplicate posts. Although I've since deleted the Entries, they still appear when someone subscribes to my RSS Feed.
How can I manage / delete these unwanted posts?
If you want to see the example, search for / subscribe to "renaissance bicycles".
Thanks in advance,
Bryan

Assuming your feed is set to rebuild automatically with other indexes, it should be up to date with any posts you've deleted, unpublished, etc.
The question I have, though, is where you're trying to make this happen. If you're still seeing the deleted posts in your desktop feed reader because you(or the other person) had already downloaded it prior to those changes being made, there's nothing you can do about that other than unsubscribe and then pull the feed back in, which would delete any history the client may have.

Thanks for your response Su-,
Unfortunately, these are the same questions I have.
I assumed that the feed would rebuild itself and update appropriately, but that doesn't seem to happen.
Also, even a new subscriber sees the old test posts. Likewise, subscribing and unsubscribing makes no difference.
How do I check to see if my feed is properly rebuilding?

How do I check to see if my feed is properly rebuilding?
You can check the filesystem timestamp. Or for totally quick and dirty, delete or rename it, publish a post and see if it comes back.

Good insight Su-
In fact, when I looked at the actual atom.xml file, it is correct!
It doesn't have any duplicate information and it is up-to-date.
So MT4.1 was doing the job just fine ... it was the reader that is caching the outdated information. So now I just have to figure out what is wrong with Google Reader (yikes).
Thanks for your help. I hope this is helpful to others as well.
