Got an error: Can't locate object method "configure" via package "MT::ObjectDriverFactory" at lib/MT.pm line 1013.


this happens at the beginning of install when i try to browse to mt.cgi
it forwards to mt-wizard.cgi and gives that error.

HELP!

I don't think that thread is going to apply to my problem.
This is a base install of v4.12.
perl paths are correct in the cgis.

it reports a lot of stuff not existing cause well it hasn't even installed yet. lol

something strange...
i have this stuff installed and mt-check says i don't...

DBI (version >= 1.21)

Either your server does not have DBI installed, the version that is installed is too old, or DBI requires another module that is not installed. DBI is required to store data in database. Please consult the installation instructions for help in installing DBI.

DBD::mysql

Your server does not have DBD::mysql installed, or DBD::mysql requires another module that is not installed. DBI and DBD::mysql are required if you want to use the MySQL database backend. Please consult the installation instructions for help in installing DBD::mysql.

That explains the error,

You need to speak to your host and get them to look at the DBI and DBI:MySQL installation on your server.

I am the host.
They are installed and fine.
They work with every other CMS.

Went to log into mine tonight and got the same error (different line number).

It was working a few days ago, ticket raised with my host, I know that they have been doing some upgrades recently, I will let you know what I find out.

My host has solved the problem, he said that their had been a Perl update and DBI needed to be re-installed.
