You can disable PM's from your control panel under board settings. You can also block individuals so that they can not PM you.

This member's forum account has been permanently suspended so they will not be able to send any more PM spams.

In the future, please do not post a copy of the PM with the URL being spammed - this further promotes the site and exposes even more people to a site which may attempt to hijack their browser or infect their computer with a virus if they click the link.

Yes, and tonight another spammer signs on and does the same thing. Tomorrow you decide to block said spammer, only to have another send you spam again on Monday.

If the same person was sending several messages, then yes, blocking them would be the way to do. But not with fly-by-night accounts. There's nothing you can do about them.

I do wish it was easier to report spammers -- maybe a "Report Spam" button on each user's profile would be helpful.

In this case, the spammer was sending PM's. I don't think there is a button or an easy option there.
