Is there any way to disable, turn off or at the very least alter the autosave functionality.

I find it a bit frustrating that as I type, or edit my post, the autosave kicks in and the focus of where I was tying changes to the beginning of the article.

I usually practice good computing habits myself so the autosave gets in my way more then it helps.

Set AutoSafeFrequency to "0" (no quotes) in your mt-config.cgi file.
