Hi,

my system info:
QUOTE
Mail::Sendmail
Your server does not have Mail::Sendmail installed, or Mail::Sendmail requires another module that is not installed. This module is required for sending mail via SMTP Server. Please consult the installation instructions for help in installing Mail::Sendmail.

All authors DO receive notification.

On sign-up, the confirmation email is never sent.
I have had several working MT installations of MT since 2.7, but this is the first time I allow user sign-up.
I don't want to use SMTP for transport.

QUESTION:

What should I tell the admin (what module may be missing)?
I'm on Linux server and MT 4.1. Default path to sendmail.
Any feedback is welcome.

Thanks!

Go to System Overview -> Settings (top right of your admin screens).
On the General page, is System Email empty? If it is, provide one.

that was it.

Thank you

P.S. for some reason the email address appears truncated in Safari, but it works anyway.

I have a quick follow up question.

I use a single MT install to run sites on a number of distinct domains. Is there a way to specify this email address per blog? A system wide email address is not useful since it will only be relevant to members of one blog.
