Right now if you check the checkbox "remember info" it sends a cookie and it remembers your info... and if you click "Forget.... " it forgets the cookie.. Howerver if you pop up another comment window the box is unchecked but still remembers your info

now... I propose a second way (not sure how to do it yet).. but if you have the cookie the box remains checked when you open new windows.. and if you uncheck the box it will remove the cookie... is this even possible?

Well, it sounds to me like your "forget me" function simply isn't working the way it should - do you have a URL we can test out?

There is a way to make the checkbox stay checked if the user has the cookie set - see Adam's (akalsey) post in this thread - but unchecking it has no bearing that I know of on the "Forget me" function.

nope.. the forget me works fine.. I just find it somewhat tacky.....

is it possible to have it uncookie you if you uncheck the remmeber me box... ?

I took this to mean "after clicking FORGET ME, it doesn't forget me"...

I didn't understand that you just meant you didn't like "Forget Me" as a means of deleting the cookie.

I think "forget me" is kind of funny myself...(funny haha, not funny weird)
