I cant handle all of the errors, glitches and problems that I have encounterd ever since I upgraded to 4.12.
I've lost data, the ability to login and countless other problems.
I am leaving Yahoo Hosting for a new host. I am going to do a fresh clean install of MT 4.2 with the new host/server.
1. Will I be okay if I export all my data from the current installation and then import it into my new installation?
2. Does anyone reccommend a reasonably priced web hosting service that they swear by? One that can handle all of the features of MT 4.2?
Thank you...

1. Yes, back up everything and you should be fine.
2. I've always had a good experience with
Vervehosting. I currently have 2 4.2 installs and 6 blogs with them, and no trouble.

Media Temple is great.
Steer clear of BlueHost/HostMonster (same people).
I do not recommend DreamHost either.

I have no problems with
JaguarPC. I have been hosting with them for 6 or so years. Have been using MT all that time and have never had a problem with them

Thank you, I am going to check some out today.
Thanks for the warnings on Blue Host, I was actually leaning that way.
I learned something about the importance of what servers these companies use.
Yahoo uses only 1 gig servers and that's why my MT install is so slow.
The best companies use dual xeon 3-5 GB servers.
I'll let you know who I go with and hope this thread helps future forum users.

After considerable research, I documented my reasons for going with WiredTree here:

Impressive.
