I have a MT 4.1 installation on one domain: site-staging.org -> this is a test MT installation that contains multiple blogs in the installation
I have another MT 4.1 installation on another domain: site.org -> this is the live MT installation that contains the same blogs in the installation as the testing installation
I create/edit blogs on the testing site (site-staging.org) to test out before then implementing the change on the live site (site.org).
I created a brand new blog (name: Journal) on the site-staging.org blog. I created quite a few entries and added tags/keywords to all of the entries. I'm unsure of how to do a complete export of the blog (Journal) on the site-staging.org installation and import it into site.org installation. I tried the export function, but that just seems to export all of the entries only. It doesn't actually export the instructions/etc. to automatically create the identical blog (with all of its settings, etc.) on the site.org.
Is there a way to export a single blog with all of it's entries/settings/custom fields/etc. and import it into another installation, i.e. the identical blog is automatically created in site.org installation? Or do I have to manually create the blog (and manually create the settings/custom fields) and then just import the entries that were exported from the site-staging.org installation?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
