The "remember me" feature in my comment form seems to be working.

Even though all the fields are blank and the check box is UNCHECKED, it still remembers me when I comment.

How do I get the info to appear so that the fields ar not blank??

Are you even including the Javascript template file(mt.js) at all? See:

Su,

Thanks for your help. I'm a little bit unclear on this... where do I get this code?? And where do I put it?

Thanks, Joe

Right, that's the template. (Could you edit that out? It's irrelevant and makes the page really annoying)
But what are you doing with it? Because your archive template seems to think it's being published here(look just before the </head>), which it clearly isn't. And that's why you're getting the Javascript errors I pasted above.

Is it because it says mt-site.js? (The Java script page says mt.js)

Also the java script template says ignore all over it. I thought that might be the problem, thats why I posted it.

The java script is set to publish statically.

I dont know what else to do.

Does anyone have any ideas on why my remember me function in the comments is not working??

I tried the above fixes but nothing helped.

Unchecking the Remember me clears the boxes for me, has it been sorted now.

Hi Rob!

What I did was replace the 4.2 java script with a copy of the 3.2 java script and it corrected itself.

It stinks because there were a few scripts in 4.2 that now are not in my 3.2, but the remember me problem was becoming a hassle for many of my readers.

Thanks
