Hi ! I'm new to MT and I don't really know if I'm posting in the right place.

I want my pages to contain the google analytics script only for visitors and not if someone is logged in.
I know it's possible, my comments section says "Thanks for signing in, admin. Now you can comment. (sign out)".

I could not find it by reading the code. I've been googleing for 2 days now and I could find many (inappropriate) solutions like getting the session cookie... Then I read about the "mt:IfLoggedIn" tag, but the template editor says "Your template changes have been saved. One or more errors were found in this template. * <mt:IfLoggedIn> at line 28 is unrecognized." (plus one another error from the same code snippet)...

Is this not recognized anymore ? What is the current way to do this ? I'm sure it's a quite common question but I could not find any working answer here or elsewhere...
Thanks for your time !

IIRC IfLoggedIn only works with MT Community rather than normal 'blogs'.

This is something I am looking at doing, probably by hooking into the JavaScript that writes the commenter greeting. When I work it out I'll post a how-to.

Hi ONM,

Did you ever look into a way to add Ifloggedin to Classic Blogs?

Thanks,
Ron
