It appears the issue I had detailed earlier this week is somewhat unusual. But I have an even more unusual update to add to the problem and hope this might inspire a solution.
It came time for my regularly scheduled program to be released (on what I call the podcast page.) I saved and published the new entry. Saving produced the usual 3.5 minute struggle to rebuild the indexes and timed out.
Then after publishing the new entry, it went to a blank page, although the proper URL was in the address line in the browser window.
Now the part that is hard to understand: Everything worked fine, as it was supposed to.
The RSS was good and iTunes downloaded the show as soon as I opened the application.
Feeds have been received at Technorati etc. Listeners around the world are listening to the show.
Conversely, the second page, which I call the blog page, saved, rebuilt and published exactly as they both have for the past three years.
While I am happy that the outcome seems to be working, it still alarms me that something has gone awry, and I am hoping someone on this forum can sniff out an issue and might have an idea as to how I might get this back to working 100% correctly.
Thanks in advance.
