Okay, I am running MT 4.21. Image::Magick is installed (version 6.4.2). In mt-config.cgi the path to mt-static is defined and correct. So is the path to my mt files. My blog works fine and I have been posting fine. I want CAPTCHA though and when I look under comment settings in my control panel I get ...



Where is the CaptchaSourceImageBase directive at? Some other topics have suggested that it is in the mt-config.cgi file, but it is not. It only asks for the path to my mt files, mt-static, and my database information.

You need to add CaptchaSourceImageBase to mt-config yourself.

Thank you! I did it and the error message disappeared. I selected I wanted the Movable Type default. Now I am just trying to figure out how my comment field totally disappeared. It is like I don't have comments enabled, but I do. I just stopped making everyone sign-in to comment. *sigh*

UPDATE: Well, I enabled registration again and my comments came back, but there is a broken image where the captcha is supposed to be. I have the right directory specified. I have reuploaded my images. I can see them when I use my browser and go to each one. I have no clue at this point.

SECOND UPDATE: The problem is fixed! When putting in my CaptchaSourceImageBase, I was using my URL for the path instead of /public_html/mt-static/images/captcha-source. Changed it and it was all fixed.
