Hello:

I have been using MT and in various forms and I upgraded to MT 4.21 in August.

Everything looked fine in previous versions of Internet Explorer and today I noticed some really ugly stuff in Internet Explorer 8 2 Beta.

There are definitely problems with IE 8 rendering MT websites. Mine is the worst.

ReadWrite Web (are they MT?) looks funny and MovableType.com is centered wrong.

The three column background is only going down the page about 10 pixels, and the footer is cutting the index off at few entries.

I replaced the footer template with the original MT4 Template and added text back and it's really rendering wrong but only on the Index Page and Entry pages, not the single pages in IE Explore 8.

Changing to compatible view solves the problem but I'm concerned that IE 8 users will see the mess and just click away.

Which is just one of the ugly problems that have emerged.

Please help. We should sort out this mess before we all look like "ugly beta"
