Hi,

I'm upgrading from 4.1 to 4.21 today.

I upgraded without a problem on one server, and it all went wonderfully smoothly!

I decided to upgrade on my other server and have run into a most perplexing problem. The upgrade script just ran once (widget manager or something, i don't remember exactly), then went straight to the dashboard as if nothing had happened. Version 4.1 still shows at the bottom of the page. And my templates have disappeared. But mt-check.cgi shows that i've supposedly got 4.21 installed, and rebuilding works without a problem and the final rebuild page shows the 4.21 rebuild page.

I'm terribly confused! Can anyone shed some light on this problem?

Do both servers share the same database?

No, they're on entirely different servers. I guess I was just trying to demonstrate how excited I was that it worked so smoothly on one, and now I'm perplexed as to why doing exactly the same thing didn't work on the other.

I'm REALLY worried about this :/ Especially because my templates are completely missing.
