Full Version: Float Center In Threee Column Layout

I hope someone can help me.

I have three column layout with alpha: float left, beta: float center, gamma: float right

The fact that beta is float center, gives me an error and also causes my page not to load properly on Safari.

However, when I remove float center from the beta column, my entire page goes out of whack.

I've tried to find answers in past threads but was unsuccesful.

Can anybody please help me?

What do you mean out of whack? Do you have a link?

MT has some default column layouts, does this help http://www.composing-stick.net/2008/11/cha...-on-a-page.html

My site is at http://metsmerizedonline.com

By out of whack I meant that each column was misaligned even in IE when I removed the float center syntax.

Thanks

Just remembered, center is not a valid option in for float in CSS. Valid options are Left, Rigth and None.

I know, that's my problem...

When I remove center and change to none, my center column moves to the right.

how do I keep center column centered in a three column layout?

At the moment I see a three column layout, Thin-Wide-Thin so beta is centred, or am I missing something?
