Quick question. I'm running MT 4.12 and I'm having an issue with creating an entry and having it publish at the specified time and date that I choose. For example, if I specify the entry to publish 5 days from now at noon, I would expect it to show up on the blog on that day and time. Instead, the system seems to simply be ignoring the date and time field for publishing, and just publishes my entry immediately. What am I not doing correctly?

Did you set the publish status to "Scheduled," instead of "Published"?

yes, and after reading a bit more, it looks like I have to setup a scheduled task to run a perl script to execute. I've set this up, but it says that "TempDir" doesn't have write permissions.....but I'm not sure where the temp directory is that it's trying to use. I've given write permissions on c:\windows\temp, but I still get the following error message in the movable type log:

Is there another temp directory that it's trying to use? I don't see where it specifies the path for this directory anywhere.
