Hi
I'm a bit new to this, but I've a working installation and I just tried to create a blog (and for the first time, include a photograph), and I can preview my entry, with the picture, but it won't let me save it.
I get:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@bluetreeservices.co.uk and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
and the error log says:
Premature end of script headers: /home/[myAccount]/public_html/cgi-bin/mt/mt.cgi
I'm not a Perl programmer, but I've a degree in Internet computing (just for context).
Wondering where to start looking for a solution.
I guess I could try re-posting without the image.

Hmm, it shows seven copies of the same stories entered, but seemingly not published in the public version of the blog, all presumably attempts of mine to publish.

Deleted six entries, published site, s/w worked through what seemed like the bulk of its publish routine, then crashed with the same error.

Just deleted blog entry (the only one with a pic) and republished, same error (so it's probably not the pic that's the problem), publication reached index templates before crashing.
Does this mt.cgi 83433 2008-06-18 21:44:24Z tell you what version I'm using? 4, where should I look for that?
Cheers

It should say at bottom of screen which version you are using.
Does mt-check finish successfully?

It should be in the same directory as mt.cgi so if you normally type
http://somedomain.co.uk/mt/mt.cgi then
http://somedomain.co.uk/mt/mt-check.cgi

Still the same (didn't go away overnight).
I just tried it with a one-line blog entry. Any clues?

It looks like another user can post, so is this to do with me, as administrator? Or something about my browser or whatever? I'm Linux/Firefox.

It seems strange that other users can post. Is there anything different between you posts and the posts of people that can post sucessfully?
