I just upgraded from 4.1 to 4.23 and now I cant even log into admin because I get this error everywhere I go:

&Image::Magick::constant not defined. The required ImageMagick libraries are not installed or not installed properly. (in cleanup) &Image::Magick::constant not defined. The required ImageMagick libraries are not installed or not installed properly.

The upgrade tool ran successfully but now I cant log into admin and all visitors get is the "welcome to movable type" page

Does mt-check run successfully and report image magick installed?

Has anything else been upgraded on the server?

It runs green, but says Image Magik is not installed. But I thought it wasn't required (but rather an optional item)? I don't remember if it was on and my host turned it off around the same time I was upgrading. That could have happened. However now I cant do anything at all without that error, and the blog will not show up.

It is optional (for CAPTCHA and thumbnails). A misconfigured ImageMagick on the server could still cause a problem.

Where you using CAPTCHA's before the upgrade / before host switched of IM?
