Is there a way to set a default font on MT 4.2?

I'm tired of seeing some posts in Times Roman and others in arial, and also in sizes ranging from 10 to 11.

Is there a way to force anything my writers post into a standard default format?

It sounds to me like you're using the Rich Text formatting option when you write a post, and are changing it there (or pasting in stuff that retains the formatting). So, how to fix that? Don't do it. Try Markdown or Convert Line Breaks.
