Full Version: Custom Field For Authenicated Users Only?
Movable Type Community Forum > Using Movable Type > Additional Features

Hi,

I am trying to find a way to have a custom field that only displays if the user is logged in. It would also be cool if you could hide code if the user is logged in, such as ads etc.

Has anyone done something like this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
Ron

The IfLoggedIn tag is a part of MT Pro, which may help you get what you want.

Looks like the IfLoggedin tag only functions on community blogs. I've been trying to trick it into working but I'm not having much success.

I messed with IfLoggedIn for a few hours. Can't get it to function in a classic blog.

Also found this method which seemed promising. Couldn't get it to work properly either.

Any other ideas?

Thanks!
