I'm just wondering how those of you who hack the MT files to do various wonderful things keep track of the hacks you've done - so you can redo them when an upgrade is released.
Suggestions?

There's a little piece of paper on my desk that has a list of what I've done and what file the change was in. :giggle: Definitely not the smart way to do it LOL! I also have bookmarks to most of the hacks I've done in my links blog so I can easily find them again.

I have the list of files in an Outlook note Kadyellebee.. lol
I too keep bookmarks to the most important hacks, or at least the site so I can search for them
I also keep a copy of my templates (thanks to the template backup script) and the files I have modified on the Harddrive so I can reference them if needed...

Hmmm, well a piece of paper is sure to get lost on *my* desk, Kristine! LOL!
And I don't use Outlook at home.
I'm thinking I may just create a category in my Tips blog called "done" or something like that, so I'll know which things I'd need to redo in the event of an upgrade.
Speaking of which, any word on an ETA for MT 2.5??

Yes, I'd have to search pretty hard to find the piece of paper - oh, here's half of it. LOL!
Yeah, I think a category for just this would be good in lovelinks, too That would definitely help me.
I believe I heard "this month" but that's as much as I know!
