It depends on what you changed in the templates, and what you have set up.     I suggest doing a comparison between what you have and the new defaults and add what you're missing.

Brenna is right - you should do a ide-by-side reading of your tmplate and the default ones to see if they've reformatted any code - you might find a different or better way to do something.    :D

I found templates for the search feature in the documentation; that's not automatically added.  I also discovered that I needed to turn on several new features in Blog Config (like TrackBack Auto-Discovery) - they weren't automatically enabled.
