It looks like it's correct now in the install instructions hosted at mt.org here... but there's not much that can be done about all the docs that were downloaded already.  

You're right though...  it is read, write, and execute for owner, and read and execute for everyone else.

Ok, so I'm sort of new at this...though I've been doing webpages for awhile...but the graphic that shows MT-2.0/docs/755.gif is completely not 755. No wonder several people can't figure this out. I certainly didn't until I noticed that the bottom of my WS-FTP said 747.

Am I wrong here? I'm sure its a little misleading for people who don't even know what permissions are.
