I'm curious, just how much HTML code can you use when writing an entry.  I already know all the basics, what I'm looking for is the ability to publish tables in an entry and have them come out as I desire on the site.

Also, I'm wondering if its possible to turn your category archive page into more of an index page for all the individual archive pages which fall in that category.  Also if possible, would it be possible to have an update notification (a star, the word updated, etc) to appear beside which one has been updated if i make a change to an entry.

You can use any HTML code you want in your posts.  You can limit people from using HTML in the comments, but your posts are open to whatever you want smile.gif

And my category pages are a list of the Individual Archives for that category instead of showing the full text of the entries.  Here's some code that makes mine work:
CODE
<MTEntries>
<$MTEntryDate format="%m/%d/%Y"$> - <a href="<$MTEntryLink$>#<$MTEntryID pad="1"$>"><$MTEntryTitle$></a><br>
</MTEntries>

Post back if you still have questions! smile.gif

Ok...then maybe its another problem.

I have my blog in a layer. I've edited the template to some extent (a lot of stuff i just don't want/need).

However I tried pasting in a table of info from my old site, and then publishing it, and basically it took the design of my entire site and stuck it in that layer, along with the table.  Very ugly as you might imagine.

The latter about the categories is what i want I believe - I'll try that out now smile.gif

You may want to use an HTML editor if you are going to be putting together complex stuff for your posts.  I *think* that you should be able to put a table inside a layer, but if you miss a tag, it would have the results you mentioned! smile.gif

ok, so is that if i miss a code in my table that i'm writing in the post, or the template itself.

I dont think i'm gonna like this answer... smile.gif
